Although violence is an unfortunate part of our society, Our Philosophy is one of non-violence.
We believe in developing an individual’s character and morality through the positive aspects of the Martial Arts. The student comes to realize that the physical discipline is but one part of their training and that the mental and spiritual discipline becomes equally important aspects of their training. Only through the integration of mind, body and spirit does the individual become a complete Martial Artist.
Though the student develops confidence in and recognizes that he/she has the physical ability to successfully defend themselves in a confrontation, they realize that it is better to use reason and intelligence to try to settle a dispute and only use their physical skills as a last resort.
